USG Joint Compounds offer specialized product types to meet specific finishing requirements such as taping a joint, applying a finish coat, or patching a crack. Available in various formulas, the SHEETROCK® Brand Joint Compound line includes both drying-type ready-mixed and setting-type powder products in conventional weight and lightweight versions.

USG Joint Tapes

add strength and crack resistance for smooth concealment in reinforcing joints and corners in gypsum drywall and veneer plaster finish interiors. Available in both paper tape and glass-fiber tape to meet specific application needs.

USG Bead and Trim

products encompass a wide variety of corner profiles, available in paper-faced metal bead and trim styles to compliment the SHEETROCK® Brand Joint Compound line.

USG Primers

provide a base that equalizes the absorption rate and surface texture variations between the drywall face paper and the finished joint compound when painted. The product line includes a formulations to meet interior wall and ceiling priming needs before painting or texturing as well as an innovative Primer-Surfacer to reduce job time whilst offering a superior finish.
